This is an 8.3 mile loop ride in the McCoy Flat area west of Vernal. The trail climbs 650 feet from the Flat on the Jackalope Trail. Arriving high on the slopes of Asphalt Ridge, it descends in a fun ribbon of singletrack dirt. The last two miles of the loop are undulating singletrack on the Retail Sale trail.

If you miss McCoy Flats road, go to the viewpoint overlooking Vernal and backtrack exactly 2 miles, then turn left into the road. Drive 3 miles to a corral on the left and park there. The trail starts at the southeast corner of the parking area, across the dirt road from the corner of the corral.
