Alpine Perimeter (Alpine, Draper). Technical trail rolls around the foothills above Alpine. Climbs doubletrack Hog Hollow, makes a hairy singletrack descent to Fort Canyon, rolls over to Dry Creek via "First Blood Chute," then into Lambert Park. Advanced technical, moderate climbing. Season April through November. Note - some portions of trail lost to development.
Betty (Timpanogos Foothills).  Popular climbing route in this complex trail system. Moderately strenuous climbing, intermediate technical. Page includes Altar-51, Buckle, Mouse Climb, and The Other Betty. Season May through October.
Big Spring Hollow (South Fork of Provo Canyon).  A Must-Ride Classic! Short-but-sweet singletrack loop in the South Fork of Provo Canyon. Meadows, forested riding, a few views of the mountains. Mild climbing, low-intermediate technical. Season May through October.
Bonneville Shoreline - Orem to Pleasant Grove (Orem, Pleasant Grove). 4.5 miles out-and-back, with around 600 feet of climbing each way. Option of loop ride via road return. Foothill area with views over Utah Valley. Season April through November.
Bonneville Shoreline - Orem Bench to North Provo Canyon. Section from Orem Trailhead to Canyon Glen, includes 3 miles of doubletrack road and Great Western Trail 033 singletrack. Season late May through October.
Bonneville Shoreline - Provo Canyon South (near Bridal Veil Falls on Parkway). Must-Ride!  Short singletrack climbs from the Provo River Parkway up to viewpoints overlooking Utah Valley. Moderate climb, intermediate technical, lower altitude. Season May through October.
Bonneville Shoreline - Provo City (Provo). Broad trail, usually doubletrack, contouring along the mountains above Provo from Rock Canyon to Slate Canyon. Follows the shoreline of prehistoric Lake Bonneville. Easier technical, a little climbing, lower altitude. Hot in afternoons. Season March through November, often open in winter.
Cliff Trail   (Provo Canyon). Discussed on the Race Loop page. Expert or upper-intermediate route on top of cliffs linking the Bench Road BST to the Race Loop. Season April through November.
Crop Circles   Unofficial and unmarked trail system in the foothills of Lindon. On National Forest above the Bonneville Shoreline. Season April through November.
Dry Canyon - 51 Loop (Kris' Loop)   (Orem). Loop ride in the foothills on the southwest side of Mount Timpanogos, including a section of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Intermediate technical, some steepish spots but not too strenuous. 7 miles with 1700 vertical feet of climbing. Season April through early December.
Dry Creek trail system (Highland)   Multiple wandering and crossing loops in the big gulch of Dry Creek in northwest Highland. Range from easy to expert. Season March through December.
Eagle Crest. (Suncrest southside singletrack) Singletrack hugs the oak-brush hillsides below the southern edge of the Suncrest homes atop Traverse Ridge. Eagle Crest trail is 2.5 miles, easy- intermediate technical, and can be done as an out-and-back. Option of advanced loops. Season May through November.
Eagle Mountain Race Loop (Hidden Canyon south of Eagle Mountain). Includes singletracks Jackrabbit, Road Runner, and Deadwood. Page also describes access singletracks Hidden Canyon and Cow Tracks. Season March through November, often open in winter.
Farm Trail (Eagle Mountain). Singletrack loop on gently-sloping sagebrush area below Lake Mountain. Easy and quick ride, suitable for beginners and kids. Season March through November.
Five-mile Pass (West of Eagle Mountain). ATV-track loop west of Lehi used for bike races, often clear to ride in winter. Juniper and sage with some views. Frequent but short stiff climbs. Loose rock makes this an upper-intermediate trail. Season March through November, often open in winter.

Flintstone DH Trail  This is an expert mile down the northeast corner of Lake Mountain, with man-made stunts and some pretty hairy natural rock drops. 4.7 mile loop ride with 500 feet of climbing from Eagle Mountain's bike park. For experts only.
Grove Creek (Pleasant Grove). Up-and-back or downhill trail for advanced riders. (Most riders do this ride as a shuttled DH.) Fairly steep, exposed cliffsides, trail surface often technical. This page covers shuttled downhill version. Uphill instructions covered on Big Baldy Loop trail page. Season June through September.
Hobble Creek paved trail (Springville). Wide paved trail climbs lower Hobble Creek canyon, beginning in town and extending past the golf course to Rotary Park. 4.5 miles, 350 feet of climbing. Very easy ride, suitable for families with small children. Season March-December.
Hog Hollow (Alpine and Draper).  Broad-track old roadway climbs from Alpine to the top of Traverse Ridge. This is a local favorite for winter-time riding, although the upper part will be a hike-a-bike after snowstorms.. In summer easy technical; in winter advanced. Connects Alpine to Draper's fabulous trail system. Season anytime.
Hog Hollow Creek (Alpine).  Singletrack along Hog Hollow Creek from Beacon Hill Park to the old Hog Hollow trail. Season April through November.
Ireland (Timp Foothills).  Trail climbs bench area at base of Timpanogos. Page describes a loop including Crank and Blackbird Two. Season May through mid November.
Jake the Snake (Eagle Mountain). Upper-intermediate trail climbs to cell tower on small mountain near The Ranches. Short ride. Season March through November.
Jordan River Parkway (Lehi). Paved foot, bike, and rollerblade trail along the Jordan River, from Utah Lake to the Jordan Narrows. Park for family picnics. Not crowded. Easy easy easy technical. Season March through November, but often clear of snow in winter.
Lambert Park (Alpine). A Must-Ride Classic!  11 miles of singletrack loops on Alpine City land at the base of East Mountain. Views of Lone Peak and Dry Creek Canyon. Upper-intermediate technical, some loops involve a bit of climbing. Season March through early December. Some portions may be open in winter.
Little Baldy (Orem). Tough climb up the south side of Mount Timpanogos. Advanced technical with narrow trail, very strenuous. Options out-and-back, or two possible loop rides. Ride described is 11.5 miles with 2700 feet of climbing. Season June through October.
Mahogany Mountain (with north Pleasant Grove BST). Trail contours mountain at 6100-foot level, reached via Grove Creek or foothill trail complex including unmarked Bonneville Shoreline trail. Intermediate technical, strong climbing condition recommended. Season  late April through November.
Maple Hollow South (Traverse Mountain). Trails south of Suncrest from the Maple Hollow trailhead, intermediate technical and aerobic. Season  late April through November.
Mercer Canyon (Lake Mountain summit) (South of Eagle Mountain). Hillclimb from Utah Lake to the summit of Lake Mountain. Gravel doubletrack. Fairly long, substantial vertical, but easy technical. Season  late April through November.
Mercer Hollow (South side of Traverse Mountain). Descending or climbing trail connects Traverse Ridge to bottom of Mercer Hollow. Season  late April through November.

Mountain Ranch Bike Park (Eagle Mountain). With a large skills area, pump track, jump line, and DH trails with man-made stunts, Eagle Mountain's bike park is the biggest and best in Utah. Located in Eagle Mountain just up the hill from Redwood Road, it's easy to get there from Salt Lake or Utah County. Four miles of trails.
Murdock Canal Trail (Orem, Linden, Pleasant Grove, American Fork, Highland, Lehi). Paved trail follows route of enclosed Murdock Canal for 17 miles from the mouth of Provo Canyon to Thanksgiving Point at the north end of the valley. Connections to local paved trails. Season year-round as snow allows.
Orem Bench to GWT (Orem, Provo Canyon). This trail follows the north side of lower Provo Canyon, from Canyon Glen to the outskirts of Orem. Singletrack plus doubletrack. Hot in afternoons. Season late March through October, doubletrack is often open all winter on dirt or packed snow. Map includes Orem section, Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
Provo Canyon Race Loop (Provo Canyon, Orem). A Classic!  Singletrack loop above the water pipeline in lower Provo Canyon. A little climbing, intermediate technical. Views up the canyon. Season April through October.
Provo River Parkway (Provo, Provo Canyon). Paved foot, bike, and rollerblade trail extends from downtown Provo up Provo Canyon past Bridal Veil Falls. Mostly shaded, good views of canyon walls. Easy technical, but good bike control required for youngsters to avoid collisions with multiple trail users. Season March through November.
Shooter.  Singletrack climbs from the Orem BST to Ireland in the Timpanogos foothills trails complex, 2.3 miles. Western climbing route for loop rides and red-hot descents. Intermediate technical. Page includes west ridge trails, loop options and descent options. Season April through November.
Squaw Peak Circles.  Narrow singletrack loops follow the course of the Squaw Peak Road. Season June through September.
Squaw Peak downhill. Series of trails from Buffalo Peak down to Provo Canyon or the valley near the canyon mouth. Some rough riding and significant navigation challenges. Season June through September, lower section late April through October.
Taj Mahal (lower Provo Canyon). Primitive trail goes east-west from Little Baldy trail to the Alta Ditch road. Page includes connected Ouch and Machu Picchu trails. Season June through mid October.
Timpanogos Foothill area (Orem-Provo). Complex system of social trails on the bench foothills east of Orem. Individual trail listing; links to trail pages; general information. Season May through mid-November.
Treadstone (Eagle Mountain). Narrow singletrack in rolling desert hills, often added to Race Loop trails. Season March through November.
Valley Vista (Pleasant Grove). Series of interconnected loops in the foothills of Pleasant Grove, reached via the Murdock Canal Trail. Season March through November.
Zorro  (Orem Bench). Climbing or descending route linking the Bench Road BST and the top of the Cliff Trail to 1560 North in Orem. Trailhead directions on the Race Loop page. Season April through November.
