We'll veer to the right off the Gemini Bridges road to hit Metal Masher, also known as Little Canyon Rim, riding counterclockwise. This route climbs to the cliffs over US 191 and back around via Arth's Pasture to the Gemini Bridges Road above Gemini Bridges. |

After climbing to near the top of the Gemini Bridges road, the route descends the Bull Run singletrack back down to the Gemini Bridges road just above the arches. |

Now it's past the bridges and on to Arth's Corner, which will go back to the Metal Masher Road, from which you head to Little Canyon ST |

You'll hit Little Canyon Singletrack for the stretch between the bottom of Gold Bar and Metal Masher's intersection with Gemini Bridges. |

Now you'll tackle a small loop on the sloped sandstone just west of US 191. The first half of the loop is to climb the Gold Bar 4x4 route from the end of the Little Canyon ST. |

Now you'll hop over to the Gold Bar Singletrack to descend back to the Gold Bar 4x4 road. Zip through the sand out to the Gemini Bridges road and return to base. Day 1 is over. |
| Day Two! 30 miles, climbing 4088 ft GPX Track High-res Topo |
![]() |
Day Two is a high-altitude ride on the eastern side of the
La Sal Mountains. The staging area is located 8 miles south of Geyser
Pass, just east of Mount Peale. Top altitude is about 10,600 feet, and the
lowest spot on the race loop is about 8,200.
The race route is pretzel-shaped, with the staging area right in the middle of the pretzel. You'll ride the central trail twice as you do a higher-altitude western loop then a lower-altitude eastern loop. First: Northbound on the common central trail, then west and counterclockwise around the western loop. You'll cross the slopes of Mount Peale before a steep descent. At the south end, you'll veer left and north back to the center trail. After passing the staging zone, the loop will take you clockwise around the lower-altitude loop. At the southern end, you'll turn back to the north and catch the central trail back to the finish line. |
| Day Three! 30.7 miles, climbing 2990 ft GPX Track High-res Topo |

From the Bar M main staging area, the last day's racing will take you out on the "shortcut" the east side of the Bar M trail. You'll turn left and ride northbound. At the north end, you'll connect by ATV track to Willow Road. |

At the Willow Springs road, you'll connect to the Salt Wash trail to head northbound. At the Dalton Wells road, you'll continue north on eastern half of the northern loop of Sovereign. |

From the northern end of Sovereign, you'll take dirt road northbound into Klondike Wash. Before you reach the Klondike Bluffs trailhead, though, you'll veer west on dirt road and connect to Cedar Mountain. |
![]() |
You'll ride Upper Sovereign (Cedar Mountain) counterclockwise for more singletrack. As you drop off the mesa, you'll connect to the Dalton Wells Road eastbound and crank back to where Sovereign drops off the mountain. |

After the grunt climb, you'll speed south on the Sovereign Singletrack. At Willow Springs road, you'll retrace a bit of the outbound trail before veering right (west) on ATV track before connecting the the western side of Bar M at the north end. Now it's a short gravel-road ride back to the staging area. |
