Soldier Hollow Hammerfest at the Hollow. May 20, 2006 Eighteen UtahMountainBiking.com team riders raced at the 2006 Hammerfest. We took 4 first-places and 3 second-places, with 13 riders placing and 17 riders connecting for team points. This is our biggest race so far, and our highest point production ever at 68 points (after 5 points were subtracted because 3 riders scored top-7 in one category). At left: How's this for dominating a category? Jordan Petersen (1st, middle), Casey Jensen (2nd, at right), and Eric Taylor (3rd, on the left) sweep the podium for UMB. |
