Lava Rama!    Lava Hot Springs, Idaho.    May 13, 2006.

This was a combined Wild Rockies and Intermountain Cup event at Lava Hot Springs. Despite smaller numbers, the UMB team made a good showing, taking 3rd in the team competition.

At the Lava Rama, our 8 team riders connected for 34 team points, with 7 riders reaching the podium. The weather was hot, which was a disadvantage to muscular riders like Matt. The climbs were long and steep. The downhills were tight, twisty, rocky, and tricky. It was a good effort by our UMB team riders. Photos by Bruce and Kris.
