I need a little more info. The whole SLC section is "north". Are you starting at the zoo, Dry Creek, Popperton Park, City Creek, or some other trailhead?

As pointed out above, there are several trailheads. I have directions to FIVE of them on the northern SLC BST trail page, but they all depend on knowing how to get through the city to the northeast foothills.

Go to the UMB home page.
Click Trails.
Click "Select by Region"
Third line down: Salt Lake City - North <- click this.
Scroll down to "Bonneville Shoreline Trail - northern SLC" and click it.
Scroll to bottom of page for multiple trailhead directions.

I usually take the 6th south exit, drive to 5th East and turn north, jog 100 feet west onto E Street, then head up to 11th avenue. From there, you can navigate to any of the trailheads.

Wasatch Blvd. Hidden valley park, south side of church, trail head in park. takes you all the way to the corner canyon trails, nice easy ride.

Wouldn't that be the South section?

The new ogden north section of the BST is really sweet. It goes from Ogden canyon to the North Ogden divide.

Just in case you don't want to drive down to SLC.
